Our Philosophy
We believe everyone deserves a space to express themselves freely without fear of judgment or identity exposure. But freedom of expression doesn't mean freedom from responsibility.
Kloak is designed to protect your privacy while maintaining a safe, welcoming community. Harmful content—hate speech, harassment, illegal material—has no place here, regardless of who posts it.
Our moderation approach is transparent, consistent, and focused on behavior, not identity. We analyze what you post, not who you are.
How We Keep Kloak Safe
AI Text Analysis
Google's Perspective API analyzes every post for toxicity, harassment, threats, and hate speech before publication.
Visual Content Screening
Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch scans images for explicit content, violence, and other harmful material.
PhotoDNA
Microsoft's PhotoDNA technology detects known child exploitation material. Matches are immediately blocked and reported.
User Reporting
Community members can report content that violates our guidelines. Reports are reviewed promptly by our team.
Legal Compliance
We report illegal content to appropriate authorities including NCMEC for child safety matters, as required by law.
Human Review
Our trust and safety team reviews edge cases and appeals to ensure fair and accurate moderation.
What's Not Allowed
The following content and behavior will result in content removal and may lead to account suspension:
- ×Child exploitation material — Immediately blocked and reported to NCMEC. Zero tolerance.
- ×Hate speech — Content targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
- ×Harassment and bullying — Targeted attacks, threats, or persistent unwanted contact.
- ×Violence and threats — Content promoting or threatening violence against anyone.
- ×Non-consensual intimate imagery — Sharing intimate content without consent.
- ×Spam and scams — Fraudulent content, spam, or deceptive practices.
- ×Self-harm promotion — Content that encourages or glorifies self-harm or suicide.
- ×Illegal content — Anything that violates applicable laws.
How to Report Content
If you see something that violates our guidelines:
- Tap the three-dot menu on any post or comment
- Select "Report"
- Choose the reason that best describes the violation
- Submit your report
All reports are reviewed by our team. You won't receive a notification about the outcome to protect reporter privacy, but we take every report seriously.

Enforcement Actions
When we detect or receive reports of policy violations, we may take the following actions:
Content Removal
Posts or comments that violate our policies are removed.
Warning
First-time or minor violations may result in a warning.
Temporary Suspension
Repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension.
Permanent Ban
Serious violations or repeated offenses result in permanent account termination.
Legal Reporting
Illegal content is reported to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
Transparency
We believe in transparency about how we moderate content. We plan to publish regular transparency reports detailing:
- Volume of content removed and reasons
- Number of accounts suspended or banned
- Legal requests received and how we responded
- Appeals and their outcomes
